Phyllis Jean Asmus

Madison -- Phyllis Jean Asmus, nee Sauer, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2009. She has joined her parents, her husband of fifty six years Bill and her sister, Katherine. Phyl and Bill raised two daughters, Enid and Beth. They made a close-knit family with Beth's husband Dan Torrison and their daughter, Erika Torrison. Phyllis is also survived by her brother-in-law Ralph Moeller and nieces and nephews. Throughout her 88 years, Phyllis was a courageous woman, a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and a caring friend. What more could anyone be? What more could anyone ask for? Thank you, Mama.

Memorial services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. with Minister Sandra Schieble officiating. A reception will follow in the Cress Community room. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 11, 2009, from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
