Phyllis Rude

Deerfield- Phyllis I. Rude, age 86, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, March 2, 2022.

She is survived by her son, Todd Borland; daughter, Lisa Gunderson; grandchildren, Debbie Borland, Jessica Gunderson (Ryan) and Josh Gunderson; five great grandsons; brother, Rick Schroeder; and cousin, Kathy Sullivan.  Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard H. Rude, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Deerfield Lutheran Church, 206 S. Main Street, Deerfield, with Vicar Sarah Key officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, following the burial, in the church fellowship hall.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at church.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude.  A special thank you to the staff of UW Hospital.
