Phyllis Ann Sigrist

Madison -- Phyllis Ann Sigrist, age 76, passed away at home on Sunday, November 23, 2008, surrounded by family. For the past 10 years, Phyllis made her home between Florida and Madison, Wisconsin. She attended two years at Baldwin Wallace College in Ohio. She loved her cat, playing dominoes with her friends and being part of her church community. Phyllis enjoyed travel with her husband of 51 years, Robert Sigrist, who preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by her four children, Bruce Sigrist, Kathleen Levenick, Bryan Sigrist and Sandra Sigrist; her niece, Christina Sogar, and their families, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Vera Buchholz; her sister, Lois Hirt; and her brother, Donald Buchholz. On Wednesday, November 26, 2008, there will be a visitation and memorial service for family and friends at Divine Savior United Methodist Church, 5702 South Hill Drive, Madison 53705. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with service at 11:00 a.m., and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Divine Savior United Methodist Church.
