Waunakee - Randall Wayne Kazynski, age 66, died suddenly on Friday January 20, 2012 in Celebration, Florida. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin on December 26, 1945 to James and Ardis (Schimelfenig) Kazynski. He graduated from Madison East High School in 1964. He married Joan Rider on May 8, 1965 and they resided in Waunakee. Randy retired from Oscar Mayer following 34 years of employment and had worked part time for D&S Dental Labs in Waunakee. He and Joan enjoyed their retirement and watching the Badgers and Packers.
Survivors include his wife Joan; three sons Wayne (Brenda) of Deforest, Thomas (Kelly) of Waunakee and Nicholas (Laura) of Waunakee; five grandchildren Cory, Kayla, Cassidy, Claire and Natalie, and a great-grandson Carter; one sister Nancy Jacobson (Jim Bakken) and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joel and Dianne Rider; one niece Tari and three nephews Mark, Todd and Tim. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Douglas and his in-laws Harold and Eleanor Rider.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church 701 S. Century Avenue, Waunakee. Rev Karen Locken will preside. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery in Madison at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, Western Wisconsin Chapter, 434 South Yellowstone Dr. Suite 202 Madison, WI 53719.
