Randolph Winston Pederson

Sun Prairie/DeForest- Randolph Winston Pederson ""Randy"", age 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the Sun Prairie Health Care Center.  He was born on the family farm in Token Creek on November 24, 1927 the son of Herman & Kathryn (Albright) Pederson.  He grew up on the family farm, a homestead that remains in the Pederson family to this day.  He was a graduate of DeForest High School.  Randy was united in marriage to Donna Mae Loomis on October 7, 1946 in DeForest, a marriage that was blessed with over 50 years of faithfulness and the blessing of five children. Donna preceded Randy in death, passing away on April 6, 1999.  Later in life, Randy had the blessing of a second faithful companion as he married Carol Massmann on April 13, 2002 at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, DeForest.  They lived their married life in DeForest, while also spending a considerable amount of time travelling and visiting their children and grandchildren.  In his business career, Randy will be remembered for his work in the dental supply business.  In his spare time he enjoyed golf for many years.  He is survived by his wife, Carol of DeForest; his children, Connie Schneider, Waterloo, Terry (Penny) Pederson, Sun Prairie, Dennis (Julie) Pederson, Dalton, Gary (Denise) Pederson, Lodi and Gail (Richard) Farrell, Madison. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; sister, Laurie Moran of Ft. Atkinson; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  Besides his first wife he was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and a sister.  Randolph Winston Pederson receives a Christian funeral on December 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, 105 Paradise Circle (off of Lake Road), DeForest with Rev. Jerry Ewing officiating. Family will be greeting friends on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
