Raymond Popp

Lone Rock / McFarland - Raymond Julian Popp, age 74, passed away January 20, 2015 at the VA Hospice Center in Madison after a brief battle with cancer. The family would like to thank the staff at C.L.C. for their outstanding care!

Born June 15, 1940 to late George Sleightam and Idella Isabel (Fowell) Popp; surviving siblings Jane Marie (Al) Copland, (Shreveport, LA), preceded in death by siblings Marvalene Benson and husband Ralph, Charles Popp (wife Joanne Popp, Rockford, IL), Mildred Harris and husband Roy, Wesley Popp and Myron Popp (wife Wilma Popp Albany, WI).

Raymond is survived by his wife Kathy Dale Popp (Lone Rock, WI) and kids, Sherri Harms (Waunakee, WI) grandson Dakota Harms (Stoughton, WI), Eric and Arlene Popp, grandson Michael (Schertz, TX), grandson Eric Jr. Popp (Korea), Tracy and James Schmidt, grandkids Jesse and Makayla (Grand Marsh, WI) and Walt and Kelly Zweifel, grandson Zach (Sun Prairie, WI).

The family wishes to extend an invitation to Celebrate Ray's Life this spring on March 14, 2015 at 12 Noon at the McFarland American Legion Post 534, 4911 Burma Rd, McFarland. Full Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. and luncheon with fellowship to follow.
