Resdual Brown

Resdual “Raj” Brown, 26 of Sun Prairie passed away Tuesday June 13th 2023. He was born September 23rd 1996 in Madison, the son of Tiffany Mitchell and Omnipotent Brown. He grew up in McFarland, where he created many cherished memories.

Raj had a passion for working with his hands and fearlessly taking on heights. It seemed like he was always flipping off of something and never afraid of anything. Throughout his adult years, he mostly worked in the construction field, where he proudly worked in commercial roofing. He would often point out the towering buildings that he contributed to. 

Another source of pride for Raj was his siblings. Working alongside his sister Jazmin, where he was always up for a challenging job and could often be found at the end of the day tracking insulation into his mom’s office. He was also so proud of his sister Kailly and how brave she was for following her dreams of traveling and moving across the country on her own. There aren’t enough words to describe the love and admiration Raj had for his baby brother and best friend, Miguel. The bond they share is unbreakable and you could always find them being the life of the party, mastering the latest video game, or simply just spending time together. 

When he wasn’t working, you could find Raj and his loyal pup Gia out fishing or exploring nature trails. He also enjoyed going on adventures with his niece Ari (his biggest fan), or grabbing lunch with his mom and pops. These moments brought him great happiness and helped him relax. Raj will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His infectious laugh, his beautiful smile, and larger than life personality will forever be remembered.

Raj is survived by his mom Tiffany Mitchell (Miller), step dad Bredell “Kenny” Mitchell, sisters Jazmin Davis (Erik and Ari) Kailly Davis, Tatiana and Asiana Brown, and brother Miguel Leonard (Yacseli). Stepbrothers Bredell R Mitchell (Raven) and Kenneth D Mitchell (Hannah) and many nieces and nephews. As well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. He was preceded in death by his dad Omnipotent Brown, aunt Jedidiah Brown, uncles Paul Diehm, Walter Lee Mitchell, Johnny Mitchell, and Grandmother Fannie Mae Mitchell and great grandparents. 

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday June 23, 2023 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5801 Hwy 51, McFarland with Rev Mike Dissmore presiding.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the funeral home on Friday. A gathering at McDaniels Park, 4806 McDaniel Lane, McFarland, WI will immediately follow the service.
