Richard Drescher

SUN PRAIRIE - Richard Dean Drescher, age 63, of Sun Prairie, passed away October 17, 2017 at the UW Hospital. He was born July 30, 1954 in Madison, WI, the son of Harold Drescher and Lucille (Schwarz) Drescher.

He married Doreen May Drescher on August 27, 1977 at Windsor United Church of Christ in Windsor, WI by Pastor David Moyer.

Survivors include his 3 daughters: Heidi M., Amanda M., Amy K.; 9 grandchildren: Miranda and Trey, Jasmine, Dylan, Cyridyan, Cassandra and Isabel, Akirah, and Cameron Castrogiovanni II; 1 great-grandchild: Grayson; as well as sisters and brothers: Rita, Elaine, Jeff, Doug and Elisa.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents: Harold and Lucille (Schwarz) Drescher; his wife Doreen Drescher; and sister Denise Drescher.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at CRESS FUNERAL SERVICE & CREMATION 3325 E. WASHINGTON AVE. with Pastor Michael Weiss officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday October 26, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial with military honors will follow at Windsor Congregational Cemetery, Windsor, WI.
