Madison-Richard ""Dick"" Eberhardt, age 74, passed away peacefully January 24, 2009 at home. Dick was born on March 7, 1934 in Lancaster, WI the son of Guerdon ""Cap"" & Della (McDonald) Eberhardt. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1951. Dick served his country in the U.S.A.F. for four years during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1960 with a Bachelors of Arts degree. Dick was united in marriage to Sunny Schumann on August 22, 1959 at St. Patrick's Church in Whitewater. He was employed with the Parker Pen Company, Chrysler Marine and Cummings Diesel before becoming self --employed. He was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Sun Prairie. Dick was a proud father and grandfather. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading and playing cards (especially cribbage). He was an avid sports fan. Dick is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sunny; his son, D.J. (Becky) Eberhardt, DeForest; his grandsons, Jacob, Mason, Nicholas and Christopher; Sister, Mary (Gene) Hanson, Excelsior Springs, MO; sister-in-law, De Eberhardt, St. Paul, MN; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerome, and a nephew, Glen Jack Eberhardt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Dr, Sun Prairie with Msgr. Terrene Connors presiding. A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Committal Services to be held at Mt.
