Stoughton- Richard Edwards, dearly loved father, brother and friend, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 in his home from natural causes.  Richard was born in Madison on October 10, 1949, the son of Arnold and Alice Edwards.  He graduated from Deerfield High School in 1967.  Richard attended and graduated from Milton College with a degree in business.  After college he worked at the Marathon truck stop and travel center for his father, A.T. Edwards, eventually managing the truck stop for the family until his retirement.    Richard was a quite man who enjoyed golfing and bowling with friends.  He was an accomplished bowler who had the honor of bowling a perfect 300 series for which he was very proud.  One of his favorite pastimes was bowling with his son, Dan.  Richard was an avid golfer.  He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed listening to his little grandson, Owen, sing to him over the phone.  Richard is survived by his children, Jessica (Andrew) Behlke and Daniel (fiance, Jackie Kodinger) Edwards; grandchildren, Owen and Lauren Behlke and a grandson expected in July; sister, Linda (Doug) Stolen; brother-in-law, Anthony Pogodzinski; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Fran Pogodzinski; and his brother, Jim Edwards.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, with Rev. Larry Sexe officiating.  Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.  Gone yet not forgotten, Although we are apart, Your spirit lives within me, Forever in my heart.
