Richard Huntington

Richard Allan “Dick” Huntington, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. He was born in Hampton, IA on March 30, 1935, to the late Clarence and Loretta (Wirtner) Huntington.

Dick was a graduate of Hampton High School, Class of ’53. He attended Minnesota Bible School for one year, transferring to North Iowa Junior College earning an A.A. Degree in 1958, then, a B.S.B. Degree from the University of Minnesota in 1960.

Dick began working at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue in November of 1963. He worked in Madison and Milwaukee offices until his retirement, in Madison, as an Auditor in June of 2003.

Dick married Erlinda “Arlene” Manlosa on April 17, 1993. Dick enjoyed listening to music especially the trumpet, reading Bible passages and was interested in computers.

Dick will be dearly missed by his wife Arlene; brothers-in-law, George (Rose) and Samuel (Judy) Manlosa; and cousins Karen (Wes) Carvenough, and Susan Linsley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Midvale Baptist Church, 821 S Midvale Blvd, Madison. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place later at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph, MI.
