Richard James Klopack

Sun Prairie-Richard J. Klopack, age 81, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Lake Mills.  Richard was born in Chicago, IL on March 30, 1928, the son of Joseph and Mary (Klopacz) Klopack.  He was a longtime resident of FL.  Richard worked as an ink technician for P.P.G. who serviced Perry Printing.    He loved the outdoors going hunting, fishing, camping and boating.  He also enjoyed bowling. Richard is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Mach of Lake Mills , son-in-law, Ron Mach of Sun Prairie, and Linda (Michael) Paul of  DeForest; grandchildren Tammie Konopi, Michael Konopi, James Mach, Tina (Larry) Funk, Travis Poster and Amber (Tony) Blevins; great-grandchildren Adrianna Mach, Alexis Mach, Morgan Buettner, Cody Poster, Cristian Funk, Anthony, Alonzo, Ameerah and Alea Blevins, Brooke & Jared Poster; dearly loved, Olivett Bazinet of Maine; brother Paul Klopack of Arkansas; nephew Tom Kanzler who travelled life's journey with him; other relatives and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.   Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie with  Chaplain Linda O'Leary officiating.   Family and friends may call from 4:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.  A reception will follow in the Cress Funeral Home Community Room.  In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to charity of your choice or local hospice program, that helped us so much with dad and his care would be apprieciated.  Cress Funeral & Cremation Service 1310 Emerald Terrace Sun Prairie (608) 837-9054 www.cressfuneralservice.com
