Richard Stubbe

Madison – Richard Harold Stubbe, age, 78, of Madison, WI passed away on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at Meriter Hospital. Born August 21,1943 in Monroe, he was the only child of Harold and Marion (Rohde) Stubbe. Richard graduated from Monroe High School and the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He worked as an auditor for the United States Department of Agriculture for over 30 years. He was a member of Peace Church in Christ, in Browntown.

Richard married Mary Ellen Koerber on June 4, 1966. He is survived by his wife, Mary; Sister-in-Law, Kathleen (James) Block; Niece Sina Sampson; Cousins Leurner (Deb) Anderson, Lynn (Scott) Spangler, and Wayne (Susie) Rohde. Chad (Heidi) Anderson, Derek (Rachel) Anderson and Brittany Anderson; Adam (Jodi) Anderson; Amy (Blayne) Roselle; Chelsea (Beka) Spangler; Courtney (Josiah) Rolland; Julia (Nick) Vail; Jessica (Todd) Gill; Justina Rohde, and Sue Anderson. He is further survived by many other close family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Grandparents; Aunt, Kathryn Pierce; Uncle, Delbert Rohde; Aunt, Joy Rohde; and Cousin, Greg Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Meriter Hospital, in Madison, for taking such excellent care of Richard and the family during his time spent there.
