Robert Brockman

Sun Prairie - Robert E. "Bob" Brockman, age 65, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at his home in Sun Prairie. He had a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 11, 1951, in Madison, the son of Richard and Joan (Veith) Brockman. Bob served in the United States Marines. He worked for UW Hospital for 35 years retiring in December of 2015. Bob loved going hunting with his brothers and nephews.

He is survived by his brothers, Raymond (Debbie), Roger, Ronald (Kim), Randy, Rodney (Patti), Roy (Jessica), Rollie (Lesley) and Ryan; sisters, Marie (Dan) Wampole, Sue (Mike) Hartman, and Ramona (Craig) Lees; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Brockman.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Monday, June 26, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 25, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
