Robert Diederich

Robert J. "Robbie" Diederich, age 49 passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born in Madison on April 4, 1963 the son of Maryann Diederich-Diehm and Peter J. Diederich.

He attended James Madison Memorial High School. Robbie had a passion for preparing food, was an expert chef in the kitchen and on the grill sharing many fabulous dishes with family and friends. He was fond of wild animals including wolves as well as all the family pets. Robbie enjoyed country music and many outdoor activities especially camping, hunting and fishing. He loved children and spending time with family and close friends. Anybody who knew Robbie would agree that he was a kid at heart, caring, giving and sincere.

Robbie will be dearly missed by his mother, Maryann (Kris)Diederich-Diehm; father, Peter J. Diederich; sisters and brother, Marie, Jonnie (Veronica Triggs), and Jodie; step-brothers, Paul, Kris, and Dustin; niece and nephew, Alysha and Jorden; great-niece, Taylor; special cousin, Jennifer; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Robbie's Life will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 6021 University Avenue, Madison on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Family will greet friends on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Madison.
