Robert Harold Gullickson

Robert Bob' Harold Gullickson, age 72, passed away at his home in the Town of Dunkirk on Tuesday, July 6, 2010.   He was born in Stoughton on November 22, 1937, a son of Harold and Ingeborg (Halvorson) Gullickson.   On October 4, 1969, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Bailey in Letts, Iowa.   Bob worked as a machinist at Gisholt and a manager at Ohio Medical, as well as growing tobacco.   He was a very active member of Christ Lutheran Church, involved in making lefse and lutefisk there.   Bob was very proud of his Norwegian heritage, and had a passion for cars.   He was a devoted father and grandfather.   He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; son Gary; daughter, Julie (Steven) Kriedeman; grandchildren, Leif and Bjorn Sperle, and Laura and Carly Kriedeman; 2 sisters, Ruth (Phillip) Larson and Betty (James) Strand.   He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mari Martin.   Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church, 700 County Hwy B, Stoughton. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery South, Stoughton.   The family will greet friends at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and again at church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
