Robert E. Haessig

Robert E. Haessig, age 85, died on Saturday, November 15, 2008 in Madison.   He was born on December 11, 1922 in the town of Montrose to Ernest R. and Verena (Hammerly) Haessig.   Robert is survived by his wife Ann (Beld) of Madison and daughter Mary V. Haessig of Dublin Ohio, many nieces and nephews and special friends the Marty and Melvin families.   He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Wilfred and Henry Haessig and sister Rosa Haessig.   Burial will be held privately at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Middleton.   In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA   22312, or the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas TX   75231.
