Robert R. Halford

Robert R. Halford, 57 of Waunakee died peacefully at home on Sunday Oct 11, 2009. He was born on Jan 29, 1952 to George and Gertrude (Doherty) Helford at St Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. Robert worked for the Marc Center for 30 years located in Mt Horeb. He enjoyed playing many rounds of golf, playing sheep head in the wee hours of the morning with his family, and enjoyed rustic vacations to Door County. He actively coached soccer, basketball and softball teams in the Waunakee area and participated in many community service events. He is survived by his loving wife Alana (Foster) Halford, a daughter Janelle (Zach McNally). His mother-in-law Bonnie Ebert all of Waunakee. Two sisters Patricia (John) Schulist of Middleton, and Mary (PJ) Krummey of St Louis, Missouri, Two brothers Thomas (Elena)Halford of Sacramento and L.A. California and David (Nancy) Halford of Fitchburg. A memorial service will be held on Friday Oct 16, 2009 at 5:00 PM at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee, Rev Sharon Cook will preside.   Friends may call on Friday from 3:30 pm until the time of services.
