Robert Hofmeister

Madison – Robert Michael Hofmeister, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born January 9, 1965, in Madison to Benedict and Judith (Lynch) Hofmeister. Rob graduated from Edgewood High School in 1983 and received his Bachelor's Degree from U.W. Madison.

He was a broker for Edward Jones for many years and later worked for the City of Madison. Rob practiced volunteerism and was a friend to all who knew him. He loved to cook and work in the garden.

Rob is survived by his children, Amanda, Jacob, and Jon Hofmeister; brothers, Ben (Kelly) Hofmeister and Tom Hofmeister; a sister, Susie (Jeff) Van Ekeren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison.
