Robert J. Kunn, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 6, 2015. He was born August 27, 1944 in Madison, son to Harold and Agnes (Marks) Kunn. Bob graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1962. He owned and operated Beau Monde Hair Salon for over 40 years. He loved to travel and hunt. Bob had an artistic talent for painting and interior design. He was a gourmet cook. Bob enjoyed spending time and cooking for his family and friends, especially during the holidays. He loved Christmas!

Bob is survived by his partner of 50 years Neil Halverson; sister Jean ( Wayne) Wornson; Niece Terri Sicilia Monaco; nephews Joe Gates, Bryon ( Regis) Wornson and Matthew ( Aria) Wornson; 9 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his sister Carol Kunn and his parents.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Cress Funeral Home and from 10:00am until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Restoring Hope Transplant House, 7457 Terrace Ave, Middleton, WI 53562.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Neil, who is loved for his unconditional love, understanding and commitment to Bob.
