Sun Prairie- Robert “Bob” J. Landsee, age 59, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at his winter home in Florida. Son of Frank and Maria Landsee, he was born in Milwaukee on March 21, 1964, and raised in Iron Mountain Michigan.
Bob graduated from the UW-Madison where he was captain of the UW football team and graduated with a Bachelors degree in agricultural business. On March 21, 1987 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sharon Dollins in Madison and had two daughters, Sara and Melissa, and ever since then family was Bob's top priority. Together Bob and Sharon owned and operated numerous businesses throughout the Midwest and Bob both coached and played football professionally. One of his largest passions in life was developing and mentoring young men to be successful on and off the football field. Along with football, he was passionate about his Catholic faith and was a devoted member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Sun Prairie.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters, Sara and Melissa Landsee; mother-in-law Kathleen Dollins, son-in-law, Riley Poe; sisters, Katherine Huschitt and Elizabeth Czernek; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Maria Landsee, his brother in-law William "Bill" Czernek, and father-in-law John Dollins.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 2, 2024 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert the Great Drive, Sun Prairie. A celebration of life will follow at the Hilton Garden Inn 1220 S Grand Avenue Sun Prairie, WI - Badger attire is encouraged. Friends may greet the family from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at church on Friday.
