Cambridge- Robert "Bob" Lund, age 40, died on Monday, January 13, 2014 as a result of an accident at work. He was born on April 15, 1973, the son of Eugene and Mary Lou Midthun Lund. Bob grew up on a dairy farm in the Town of Christiana. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1991. Bob worked as a tree trimmer and landscaper before pursuing his passion for masonry. Bob was most well-known for the pride he took in his work, especially at the Overture Center, Madison Public Library and in many private homes. Bob met the love of his life Emily Hansen on August 8, 1993. On November 1, 1997 they were married. Together they built their own home and enjoyed hiking, travelling and working in their garden. Bob was an avid Packers fan. He had fun playing horseshoes and shooting pool. Bob's favorite past times were woodcutting, working tobacco, and most of all being with his girls. He is survived by his best friend of 21 years and wife, Emily; two daughters, Erika and Ilsa; mother, Mary Lou Lund; seven siblings, Dale (Julie), Ronald, Judy (Wayne) Gjertson, Debbie (Doug Allen) Kelter, Randi, James (Janelle Dulavy) and Dennis (Judy); many nieces and nephews; and Emily's loving family.
