Odor, Sr., Robert 'Bob'
Stoughton- Robert 'Bob' Wainwright Odor, Sr., age 51 of Stoughton, entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Rhonda, family and friends. He leaves behind his greatest legacy, his son, Bobby, Jr. (age 11) whose strength carried the family through Bob's journey to Heaven. Bob was born on June 21, 1960 in Oshkosh to William and Ramona (Lyle) Odor. He was united in marriage to Rhonda Smith in 1999. He attended Madison East High School and the UW Madison, where he received a BA in biology. Although his career path took him in another direction, he retained a lifelong appreciation for nature and all God's creatures. Bob worked for American Family Insurance in Madison for 20 years and was respected and loved by his many co-workers, who he also counted as friends. Bob had many hobbies and interests including fishing, hunting, jewelry making, watching the Packers with his son, music and singing with his friends, vacationing up North with family and studying the Bible. He was a loving husband, father, and dedicated son who provided a home and care for his mother. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, William Odor, Sr.; and his step-father, Robert Eason. He leaves behind his wife, Rhonda; son, Bobby, Jr.; mother, Ramona Eason; sister, Janet (Jim) Oakley; mother and father-in-law, Jean and Roland Smith; and an extended family of nieces, nephews and in-laws who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Lake View Church, 2200 Lincoln Ave., Stoughton, with Pastor Levi Snyder officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, January 22nd from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, and again at church on Monday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. A reception at church will follow funeral services, and burial will take place at 3:00pm at Sunset Memory Gardens in Madison. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. A scholarship fund has also been set up for his son Bobby at Anchor Bank in Stoughton.
