Robert (Rob) Stellmacher, 59, of Waunakee WI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 28, 2023 at their family cottage in Grindle Lake, WI (his favorite place on earth). He was born on July 11th, 1964 in Baraboo, WI. He was the son of Harwood (Howie) and Mae (Stumpf) Stellmacher. Though Rob never won the powerball… he won the lottery when he married the love of his life, Beth Boyer, almost 29 years ago on September 24, 1994.
Rob’s educational path went through St. Joseph’s in Baraboo, Baraboo HS, MATC, UW - Stevens Point, and UW - Stout where he got his degree in business (with a short stint at clown school with Circus World Museum!) He then spent his professional career in retail management starting with Kmart (where the romance with his wife, Beth, began) and ending with over 11 years and 10 million steps at Costco!
Rob’s whole world was his wife and kids and he loved nothing more than doing all of his favorite things with them. Rob was an avid boater, snow-mobiler, ATVer, hunter and was all things Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. When it was time to drop the water-skis, he simply picked up wakeboarding. Euchre, darts, air-guitar, getting out of speeding tickets… if he did it, he did it well.
Rob will be deeply missed by his wife, Beth, daughter, Abby, son, Tyler, fur kids, Milo & Lucy and his father-in-law, Ronnie Boyer. He also leaves behind his siblings to carry on with the laughs, John (Jeanna) Stellmacher, Brian (Crea) Stellmacher, Ken (Tracy) Stellmacher and siblings-in-law, Brad (Kristi) Boyer, Brian Boyer, Kevin (Erin) Boyer, and Rhonda Boyer. Rob took his role as uncle seriously and adored his nieces and nephews, Michael (McKenzi), Bailey, Grant, Bryce, Hannah, Nathan, Brett (Brittany), Lindsey (Matt), Brandon (Emily), Zach, Ellie and the greats… Braelynn, Brynlee, Hattie, and Jax. Rob is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count.
Rob is joining his heavenly family including his parents, Howie and Mae Stellmacher, and mother-in-law, Judy Boyer.

Rob never let diabetes slow him down despite the many challenges it posed. But he was passionate about all of the advances in medicine that awarded him such an active life. Because of this, in lieu of flowers, any memorial given in Rob’s name will be forwarded to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Clock out, turn up the music, and rest easy Stelly! And know how very much you were loved and will be missed!
