Robert Sands

Madison - Robert Sands passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, due to complications from a stroke. He was born on May 1, 1938, in New Glarus WI. He is survived by his wife, Mary, children, Shari (Jim) Sands Robinson, Clifford “Mike” Myers, Steven (Lee Schneider) Myers, Julie (Jeff) Jay, Barry (Rita Morris) Sands, and many grand & great-grandchildren. He will forever be remembered as the voice of the circus, having voiced the infamous line “It’s circus time” since forever until he retired in 2017. Many thanks to his care team at UW Hospital for making his stay as comfortable as possible
