Robert J. Simler Jr.

Robert   J. Simler Jr.,  age 51, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday,   June 6, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.   He battled cancer heroically for 3 years.   Robert   served in the US Navy for six years, and was employed by Thermo Fisher Scientific.   He is survived by his wife Kathy, his daughter Alexis (Andrew) Callahan, Galveston, TX, his parents Robert and Anne Simler of West Haven CT, and sisters, Deborah Romano, West Haven, CT, Carolyn Palmer, Becket MA, and his beloved Jasmine, Ella, Max, and Julian.   A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, WI.    In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in Roberts name to HospiceCare Inc., 5395   E. Cheryl Pkwy., Madison, WI   53711.
