Robert Lee Stowell

Sun Prairie – Robert Lee “Bob” Stowell, age 82, passed away on Tuesday March 18, 2025 at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born April 19, 1942 in Reedsburg, WI. to the late Elmer and Edna (Hartman) Stowell. Bob married Susan Fritz on October 29, 1966 in Boscobel, WI. He is a graduate of Madison Business College and worked as an accountant for many years. Robert served his Country in the United States Army in Germany and later in the US Army Reserves. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He played tennis with his buddy Toby for many years and also loved to fly remote control airplanes and woodworking.

Robert is survived by his wife Susan; children Sabina (Michael) Biel, Nicole (Ryu) Yin; 5 grandchildren: Anna (Edwin), Claire (Jonathan), Ella, Gabriel and Kitana; brother Duke Stowell and sister-in-law Carolyn Stowell and is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Don Stowell, sister Betty Jones, sister-in-law Jeri Stowell and niece Diane Freymiller.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 22, 2025 at OUR SAVIORS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 550 Lincoln Dr. Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with Rev. Seth Hecox presiding. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service at the church on Saturday.
