Robert "Robby" Crothers

SUN PRAIRIE—Robert “Robby” J. Crothers passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 surrounded by his family.  Robby graduated with high honors both from Sun Prairie High School, Class of 1984, and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Class of 1988.  While in college, he also played all four years on the university hockey team.

Robby had a true love for the outdoors.  He never tired from waterskiing, hunting, and campfires, and making memories on the Wisconsin River.  He loved great conversation and banter, and never turned down a game of cribbage.  Most of all, Robby lived for his family and his amazing friends.

Robby is survived by his daughters Mara Renee and Grace Kristine Crothers; parents Robert and Renee Crothers; brothers Corde (Jennifer) Crothers and Kennan (Kristi) Crothers; and the Love-Never-Lost for Mara and Grace’s mother Lizabeth Crothers; and countless other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank the entire medical staff SSM St. Mary’s Hospital and the special angels on Earth of Agrace HospiceCare for their care and sincere compassion for Robby and family while in their care.
