Roger L. Graham, age 64, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on Thursday, March 1, 2012. Born in Hayward, WI on July 15, 1947 to Clarence T. and Phyllis (Hendrickson) Graham, he was the youngest of three sons. Roger graduated from West High in 1965. After furthering his education and graduating from the UW in 1975, Roger was employed and retired as the Director of Fiscal Services of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. He could be found most mornings enjoying his retirement with morning coffee with "the guys." Roger loved the outdoors, especially activities such as boating and biking. His most recent interests were researching his genealogy and history. Left behind to cherish his memory are his life partner, Jutta Oberg; daughters, Erika Graham, Corrie Graham of Madison, and Mindy (Larry) Trevathan of VA; grandchildren, Brett (Leslie) Wright of Madison, Emily (Cory) Mitchell and Billy Potter of VA; great-grandchildren, Sydney Mitchell of VA, James Freund and Baby Boy Wright of Madison; and brothers, Larry (Judy) of Madison, and Donald of CA; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence T. and Phyllis (Hendrickson) Graham. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, WI, with visitation from 2:00 pm until the time of service. A celebration of life will follow at the Bourbon Street Grille.
