Roland ""Pat"" P. Berry

Roland P. ""Pat"" Berry, age 84, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Oakwood West.    He was born October 22, 1926 the son of John and Pearl (Allen) Berry in Chicago, IL, and proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1943 until 1946.    Pat was united in marriage to Geraldine ""Gerry"" Lundhulm November 8, 1947 in Madison.   He was a loving and devoted husband and father that always put his family first.  Pat was an electrician for over 40 years, and was a dedicated employee. Being an electrician was not only his occupation, but also his hobby and life.  When he started he was employed by Lundhulm Electric, and retired from Forward Electric.   He was a 60 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and holds the oldest active member card.   Pat is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Gerry, children, Dennis P. Berry, Kathleen A. Mitchell, and Timothy J. Berry; grandchildren, Kristen, Reisha, and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Vega, and Carter.   He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.   A memorial visitation will be held from 4 until 7 pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison.
