Cambridge- Roland S. Wolf, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at his home in the town of Christiana. He was born in East Grand Forks, Minnesota on September 22, 1924, a son of Ben and Eva (Rienhard) Wolf. Roland was united in marriage to Donna Jean Freberg on January 23, 1949. He served his country in the Army during WWII. A lifelong farmer, he also worked at the Rockdale Mill, for The Town of Christiana, London Lumber, and Wolf Trucking. He was a faithful member of East Koshkonong Lutheran Church. Roland is survived by his wife, Donna; 3 sons, Michael (friend Patti), Jerry (Connie) and Richard (Jody) Wolf, 4 grandchildren, Jeramy, Ben, Kiel, and Mitchel; 3 great-grandchildren, Oceona, Layla and Kira; and a brother, David (Marilyn) Wolf. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody; a brother, Frederick; and 2 sisters, Ellen and Laura. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at East Koshkonong Lutheran Church, 454 E. Church Rd., Cambridge, with the Rev. Jim Schwarz officiating. Burial and Military Honors will follow at East Koshkonong Cemetery. The family will greet friends at church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Special thanks to HospiceCare, Inc.
