Ronald Brandt

McFarland- Ronald L. Brandt, age 43, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Agrace HospiceCare Center. He was born in Madison on April 16, 1969, the son of Gordon and Carol (Gjermo) Brandt. Ron graduated from McFarland High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, being a volunteer for the McFarland Fire Department, and spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Lauren. Ron's passion was working as an auto mechanic. He is survived by his daughter; his mother, Carol; brothers, Steve (Julie) and Randy; sister, Susie (Steve) Weinberger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Gordy. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at McFarland Lutheran Church, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, with Rev. Timothy Dean officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, immediately following the services, in the church fellowship hall. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland, and from 10:00 AM until the time of services Thursday at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc. or to a memorial fund that will be established for Lauren's education.
