Ronald Engel

MADISON-Ronald A. Engel, born February 28, 1951 in Springfield, MN, died August 29, 2014 at the age of 63.

Ron most recently drove school bus, but prior to this, he was a truck driver. He loved hunting, fishing, the Western Channel, and was better than anyone fixing anything.

Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Lucinda "Cindy" (Morgan) Engel, son Morgan Halsted, Morgan's wife Michelle (Hahn) Halsted, grandsons Jeff and Joe Halsted, sisters Donna (Engel) Wing of Springfield, MN and Gloria (Engel) Thomsen of Walker, MN; and his beloved schnauzer Alice Ione. Preceded in death by his parents Alfred Engel and Doris Engel of Cold Spring, Minnesota.

The family will greet friends from 4:00-10:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Capital Brewery (7734 Terrace Ave., Middleton, WI 53562) in celebration of Ron's life.
