Ronald F. Weidemann, age 82, died on Thursday, December 24, 2020. He was born on March 25, 1938, in Columbus, Wisconsin, the son of Floyd and Hildegarde Weidemann. On February 8, 1963, Ron and Suzy Yamagishi were united in marriage in Japan. Ron graduated from Madison East High School in 1956 and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1960 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Ron later graduated from the University of Missouri, in 1974, with a master’s degree in Business Administration. Ron was an officer in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1974, leaving as a captain. Ron worked for the State of Wisconsin as an auditor for the University of Wisconsin systems. Ron enjoyed various types of music and played the organ. He loved to water ski and was on a bowling league. He also enjoyed reading, going to auto shows, and collecting various items. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren as they were growing up. Ron is survived by his wife Suzy, son Daniel Weidemann, daughter Annette Bennett and her husband David Bennett and grandchildren Devon and Jade Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd L. Weidemann and Hildegarde M. Weidemann. Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Avenue, Madison on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
