SCHUELER, RUBY L.

Ruby L. Schueler, age 88, of Madison passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Oak Park Place. She was born November 19, 1919, in Edgerton, WI, the daughter of Sanford and Viola (Anderson) Lein.Ruby was a member of Burke Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Edgerton High School and Whitewater College. Ruby taught school in the Utica area and also worked at Sears for many years, where she received several employee recognition awards. On November 21, 1940, Ruby was united in marriage with Roy Schueler, the son of Oscar and Belle (Jacobson) Scheuler.

Survivors include 1 daughter Roxanne (Richard) Peterson of Sun Prairie; 1 sister Helen Gilbertson of Edgerton; 1 sister-in-law Marilyn Lein of Stoughton and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy on August 23, 2001, her parents, 1 sister Harriet Ewers, 2 brothers Milo & Bud Lein, 2 brothers-in-law: Clyde Ewers and Roger Gilbertson and 1 sister-in-law Jean Lein.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 18 at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Chaplain Shirley Kelter will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to HospiceCare, Inc.
