Middleton - Ruth Hellenbrand age 67, peacefully passed away on March 25, 2009 at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. Ruth was born February 27, 1942 in Roxbury. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, caring grandmother and friend to many. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her granddaughters and enjoying time with family.  She had a deep passion for conversation and always was willing to help out. She was an active member of Saint Peter's Church and was a successful small business owner. Ruth's family survives her including her loving husband Walter Hellenbrand of Middleton; sons Perry (deceased), Martin and Michael of Middleton; daughters, Nancy (Cornelius) Zethof of Charlotte, NC., Pamela (Barry Roberts) Hellenbrand of Madison, Lucy (Cory) Kubly of Mount Horeb; granddaughters, Taura and Athena Kubly of Mount Horeb. She is also survived by six sisters and three brothers, Shirley (Robert) Boehnen of Black Earth, Wayne (June) Ballweg of Reedsburg, Sister Joyce Ballweg, O.P. of Racine, Ella (Ronald) Roth of Sauk City, Faye (Steven) Endres of Deforest, Leta (Douglas -- deceased) Pearce of Prairie Du Sac, Arden (Jean) Ballweg of Dane, Julie (Dennis) Crawford of Pardeeville, Bennett (Patricia) Ballweg of Cassville. Ruth is further survived by three aunts and one uncle, Sister Agnes Ballweg, O.P. of Racine, Esther Dean Bynum of Alabama, Florence Ballweg of Prairie Du Sac, James Hepola of Prairie Du Sac. As well as survived by five brother-in-laws and four sister-in-laws, Anthony (Joyce) Hellenbrand of Madison, Victor (Shirley) Hellenbrand of Dane, Dorothy (Glenn) Mack of Roxbury, Lawrence (Agnes) Hellenbrand of Madison, Esther (James) Esser of Verona, Jerome (Bernadette -- deceased) (Linda Kipp -- fiance) Hellenbrand of Middleton, Carol (Thomas) Igl of West Middleton, JoAnn (Larry) Borek of Milwaukee, Alvin (Elaine) Hellenbrand of Middleton. As well as survived by two aunt-in-laws and one uncle-in-law, Peter (Marcella) Ripp of Ashton and Matilda Ripp of Waunakee. She is also survived by 91 nieces and nephews and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mabel Ballweg; brother, Mark Ballweg; and her mother and father in-law, Henry and Agnes Hellenbrand; brother-in-law, Henry Jr., Herman and Charles Hellenbrand.  A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at WINN-CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5785 HWY Q, Waunakee, WI 53597.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Ashton), 7121 County Trunk K, Middleton, WI 53562.  There will be a visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery.        Â
