Ruth Ann Raffit

Madison--Ruth Ann Raffit, age 64 passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born August 13, 1944 in Antigo, the daughter of Francis Bricco and the late Arlene (Fairchild) Bricco. On August 13, 1980, Ruth was united in marriage to Richard E. Raffit in Illinois. Ruth was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church of Sun Prairie. She loved to travel and enjoyed all outdoor activities.   Ruth is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons, Dean (Brenda) of Madison, and Dale of Oshkosh; her father, Francis Bricco; and Richard's daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Linda (Mark) Roszina; and two brothers, Gordon (Christi) Bricco, and Larry (June) Bricco.   She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie, with the Monsignor Terrence L. Connors presiding. Visitation will be held from 12 NOON until the time of service at the church.   In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family prefers donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
