Ryan J. Baker

Sun Prairie-Ryan J. Baker, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his home. He was born on May 21, 1972 in Madison the youngest son of Bob and Karen (Jerman) Baker. He attended LaFollette High School and was employed by Maly Roofing, Madison, for many years until an accident left him unable to work. He loved his job and missed his co-workers. He also loved his daughter, Hayley very much and was a huge part of her life.

Ryan will always be remembered for his quick wit, kindness and great sense of humor. He always thought of others before himself. He loved to fish, to cheer for the Packers and Badgers, and to go to garage sales with his dad, Bob.

Ryan is survived by his daughter, Hayley Baker, Monona; his father, Bob, Sun Prairie; his brother Robb Baker, Cottage Grove; and a special friend, John who was always there for Ryan. He also is survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends who will miss him very much. He was preceded in death by his mother Karen.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Service will follow immediately afterwards with Rev. Mark Grindle officiating. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, Cottage Grove.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
