Sally devoted her life to others. She helped care for her parents in their advanced years as well as sisters, Marjorie and Dorothy and brothers, Philip and Vernon. Her devotion to them as well as others in nursing homes and hospitals set an example for us who likewise felt her love and care through the years.
During WWII she spent many hours volunteering for the Local USO as well as working extra hours at a defense plant.
Sally was a prolific letter writer and kept in touch with many loved ones by the pen and the telephone. She retired from Wisconsin Bell in 1985.
