Sally Schieldt

Madison- Sally R. Schieldt passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022.  She was born on October 21, 1951, the daughter of Gordon and Jean Schieldt.

Sally was a fighter.  After an illness at age two, that left her disabled, she continued to fight for her whole life.  With the help of Neighborhood Connections in the 1990's and Rise Up Inc. to this day, she achieved independence.  Her care team made sure Sally was involved in the community, attended fesitvals, concerts, cultural events, and had exposure to spirituality including church.

Sally is survived by her mother, Jean; siblings, Sharon Lee, Shirley (Graydon) Scholl, Susan (Dick) Pretel, Greg (Michelle), Ramona (Douglas) Engle, Gary (Pamela) and Debbie (Pat Dolan); and many extended family members, amazing caregivers, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon; brother, Grant; and brother-in-law, Ervin Lee.

Sally's family is thankful to all of the amazing caregivers that provided her with such a rich and diverse high quality of life.
