De Forest - Sandra J. Redman, age 71, passed away on January 15, 2017, at her home in De Forest. She was born on August 11, 1945, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, the daughter of James and Ruth (Ulbricht) Hamilton. Sandra was united in marriage to Howard Redman on July 17, 1982, in Mitchell, South Dakota. She spent 33 years of her life in the Health Care Industry. Her assignments varied from Care Giver at UW Health Care and Brightstar Home Care in Madison, Wisconsin, to Vice President of Operations at Friendship Manor Health Care in Waupaca, Wisconsin, to Administrator of a 230 bed Alzheimers unit at Lake Park Villas in Oceanside, California.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Redman; a daughter, Wendy Elmer; a son, Jeffrey (Pam) Elmer; stepfather, William Johnson; 5 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Deborah Hicks; brothers, Robert "Dewey" (Carolyn) Hamilton, Greg and David (Roxanne) Hamilton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Hamilton.
A memorial service will be held at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 220 S. Main Street, De Forest, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sue Beadle officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
