Sara Jean Brooks (Ankrom) beloved wife, mother, grandmother and head cook passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 23rd. Sara loved her family first, all children and to cook. Now she has been called to serve in God's kitchen.
Sara is survived by her husband of 54 years Ernie; children Mike (Cindy), Kathy (Jim) Janssen, Bill (Geneva) and David. She was adored by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by sisters and brother in law and many special friends.
A public celebration will be held Friday, September 28th from 2-5:00 pm at Token Creek Park, followed by a private family memorial on Saturday.
