Scott Morris Freye

Verona -- Scott Morris Freye, age 50 died August 14th, 2010, at HospiceCare.      Scott was born February 2, 1960, in Madison, the son of Eugene and Beverly (Hare) Freye.   He was a graduate of Janesville Craig High School and received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin -- Platteville.   Scott and Catherine Mary Davies were married September 17, 1983, in Lancaster.  Scott and Catherine lived in Moline, Ill. and Madison, before moving to Verona, where they have lived for the past 16 years.   Scott was a mechanical engineer P.E. consultant for Mead and Hunt, Inc. for 22 years. He was unfailingly dedicated to his job, clients and coworkers.    Scott's passions were his family and friends.   His kids were his pride and joy and he never missed attending and supporting their activities. He enjoyed hunting, golf, camping and vacations with Catherine and the kids. Scott was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic parish.    Scott is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughter, Sarah Freye; son, Jared Freye; father, Eugene Freye; sister, Cynthia Crew; and brother, Jeff Freye.       A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, August 16, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at 11 a.m. at ST. ANDREW-ST WILLIAMS CATHOLIC PARISH, 301 N. Main Street, Verona, WI 53593.   Burial will be at St Andrew's Catholic Cemetery.
