Scott S. Jameson

Scott Stuart Jameson, age 85, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Unity Point Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born on November 1, 1939 in Gays Mills, WI, the son of Frank Jameson and Marion Pomeroy Jameson. Scott was married to Pamela Jameson on October 11, 1980.

Scott worked for many years as a mainframe computer programmer. He then went on to his dream job as a clerk at Dorn Hardware where he loved helping customers find what they needed. Scott was an expert woodturner making bowls, plates, vases and many more beautiful gifts for family and friends. Scott was truly a people person, liking everyone he met. His Mother used to say “Scott never met a stranger”. Scott was a very grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous for almost 53 years. He had the privilege of being helped and helping many people in these years. He will be fondly remembered by so many people!

Scott is deeply missed by his wife; his children, Robert (Lori) Jameson, Jennifer Repinski and Timothy (Lisa) Jameson; his grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Danielle and Dakota; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Richard Piehl and many nieces and nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; Stepfather, Bigelow Lourie; Pam’s Mother and Father and 8 brothers and sisters.

Celebration of Life will be at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, WI on April 26, 2025. Visitation at 1:00 pm and the service at 2:00 pm followed by a dessert buffet. Burial will be in the Gays Mills Cemetery at a future date.

Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
