Sharon Lee (Stelse) Herlitz died at her home on December 3rd surrounded by her family.  Sharon was born September 19, 1945, in Watertown, Wisconsin the daughter of  Albert and Mabel (Peich) Stelse.  Sharon graduated from Stoughton High School in 1963. Sharon was united in marriage with  Donald ""Junior"" Herlitz on January 28, 1965.    Sharon enjoyed her many years of employment at Methodist Hospital, Cuna Mutual, and Meriter Hospital.  Sharon was blessed to meet life-long friends throughout her career.  Sharon lived for her grandchildren. She loved showing up unexpectedly on Saturday mornings with donuts, while we all scrambled to get ourselves together.  She loved making trips to the Amish and A&W Rootbeer Stand before the weather got too bad. Sharon was always up to talking to anyone whether it was somebody she randomly met or her long lost friends. She loved to be known as somebody in the 21st century learning how to use the computer and send text messages to her grandchildren. On her many days she blasted her ""old country"" on her iPod. If you were to ask Sharon to do something on Friday the answer from her would be ""No"", as that was her and Junior's afternoon together. She spent countless hours sitting outside looking at the birds and cussing at the squirrels. She will be remembered for her good cooking especially ""Grandma's Mac & Cheese."" Â
Sharon is survived by her husband, Donald ""Junior"", of 45 years.  She is also survived by her daughter, Fawn (Ron) Reeson of Portage; three blessed grandchildren: Brock ( Brittany), Skylar (Ethan), and Blake Reeson; and one sister, Sylvia Sue (Hank) Zane of Marinette; sister-in-law, Beverly (Kenneth) Stelse; and brother-in-laws, LaVerne Bleifuss, John Herlitz .  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Lee; her parents, three brothers, one sister and two sisters in law. In addition, she is survived by her beloved pets:  Buddy, Whitney, and Q-T. Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 10 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME where friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service.  Pastor Edward Klingaman will officiate and burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.  The Family would like to thank HospiceCare inc. and her special team.Â
