Sharon Kriesler

Waunakee - Sharon A. Kriesler, age 65, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 3, 1947, the daughter of Leroy and Eileen (Schmidt) Marking. On November 12, 1966, Sharon was united in marriage to Robert W. Kriesler. Together they raised three sons. She was a wonderful cook and loved getting together with family over the holidays, especially at Christmas. Most of all she, cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. They will always hold a special place in her heart. She was a loving, kind and devoted wife, mother and grandma, who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sharon was survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert "Bob" Kriesler, three sons; Ken (Tracey) Kriesler, Nicholas (Jaime) Kriesler and Kevin Kriesler, four grandchildren; Benjamin, Amber, Mason and Karsten, two sisters and a brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at WINN-CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee, WI on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of services.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Mayo Clinic and especially to Dr. Greason for all the special care and attention to detail given to Sharon and our family.
