Sharon K. Roth

Sharon K. Roth, age 72, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from an ongoing heart condition that had worsened in recent months. Sharon was born on September 14, 1952 to LaVerne (“Buddy”) and Laura (Kohlman) Acker. She graduated Middleton High School in 1970. She married Dan Roth on October 23, 1976, at St. Peter Catholic Church and was a lifelong member of the parish. She enjoyed baking, quilting, and other crafting. Particularly in the last decade of her life, she was devoted to her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them and spoiling them. She grew up farming and she and Dan continued to farm DCS farms on Hwy K while working at Dairyland Insurance, CUNA Mutual, and JCPenny.

Survivors include her husband and her three children, Kevin (Nate), Chris (Celsey), and Tracy; grandchildren, Sydney, Miles, Julia, and Lily; brother, Vern (LaVonne); in-laws, Janice (Marcel) Meinholz, Barb Hellenbrand, Joanie (Mike) Ripp, Jim (Sharon) Roth, Laure (Terry) Thornton; nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law Helen and Alois Roth and in-laws Ron Roth, Ella Roth, Richard Roth, and Steve Hellenbrand.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October, 23 at 11:00 a.m. at St Peter Catholic Church, 7121 Hwy K, Middleton/ Ashton. A visitation will be held at Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee on Tuesday, October 22 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and also at the church on Wed. from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
