Sharon L. Zahradka

Madison- Sharon L. Zahradka, age 70, died on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on November 15, 1940 in Marshfield, Wisconsin, the daughter of Anton and Alice (Michalski) Zahradka. Sharon retired from the State of Wisconsin where she worked in the Division of Community Services; Social Services Specialist in planning and developing community training programs for county human services personnel. She enjoyed movies, concerts and read voraciously. Sharon volunteered at the Madison Senior Center and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was a beloved sister, aunt, friend, and companion who will missed greatly.

Sharon is survived by her companion, Gerald Danish; brother, James (Arlene) Zahradka; sister, Kris Ann (Henry Paul) Haley-Paul; 8 nephews, James Jr.(Sue), Joseph (Barb), Mark (Lynette), John (Lori), Robert (Aimee), Jason (Krystal), Ryan (Kristy), and Cole (fianc�e Alexis); 13 great nephews and 9 great nieces.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Michael Zahradka.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Dr., Madison on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Donn Heiar presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Burial will take place at Corpus Christi Church Cemetery in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
