Shirley Jean Feirn

Shrley Jean Feirn, age 76, passed away on January 12, 2010 in Louisville, Colorado.  She was born in 1933 in Cumberland, Wisconsin to Florence Edna and Charles Raymond Augustoff Scharmer. She married William John Feirn of Madison, Wisconsin on October 11, 1952 who has preceded her in death.  She is survived by her sons, William and wife Wendy York-Feirn, their daughters Kami and Kelsi of Colorado and Richard and wife Katherine Thompson-Feirn, their children Leah, Erick and Julie of Wisconsin; Shirley's sister Myrna Rae, and husband Richard C. Hammer of Minnesota and children Gregory, Robert and Karen and their families; her granddaughter Monica and husband Matt Schmutz, and their son, Brynton of New Mexico   She is remembered and loved by many for her laughter, friendly smile and love of singing.  She never stopped marveling at the mountains and life in Colorado.   A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, WI.  Inurnment  will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Sunset Memory Gardens. Donations may be made to HospiceCare of Boulder & Broomfiled Counties, 2594 Trailridge Drive East, Lafayette, CO.
