She was a 60-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, was on a bowling league for many years, and was an accomplished seamstress and quilter.  She loved reading, cooking and card playing but mostly snuggling with her grandbabies.  She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist church in Waunakee.  Her faith and family were especially important to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Kent Macaulay. She is survived by her loving husband Neil, children Kathy Courtney, Karen (Clement) LaMere, Kevin (Terry) Macaulay, Kean Macaulay, and Kraig Macaulay.  She is further survived by her grandchildren, Kelly (Brian) Wallace, Christina (Nate) Gordon, Jon (Heather) Macaulay, Allen (Leslie) Macaulay, Matt (special friend Brianna) Macaulay, Jennifer (Scott) Garske, Alyssa (Nick) von Allmen, Katelyn (Ahna) Barreau, and Daniel (special friend Samantha) Macaulay and 12 great grandchildren.
